The school has approximately 450 students and 40 staff members. We are now looking for a licensed teacher in programming and digital creation for our institution.
We offer
At LBS – Kreativa Gymnasiet, we combine a well-developed systematic quality work with creative learning processes. This places high demands on everyone who works with us, on the learning environment, and on the organization, but also gives a lot back to you as an employee through great opportunities to develop in your profession in a stimulating work environment and to engage in true collegial learning.
We offer our employees continuous professional development through Academedia Academy as well as internal and external professional development. Your mission
We are now offering a 60% position for teaching programming, digital creation, and design. You will also play an important role in continuously developing the school's programs together with your colleagues. As a teacher at LBS, you will be highly involved in the school's systematic quality work and pedagogical development.
Your profile
Primarily, we are looking for a licensed teacher with expertise in game development and a passionate interest in creative education. To succeed in this role, you need excellent knowledge of the Unity 3D game engine and advanced skills in object-oriented programming with C# via Visual Studio, which forms the core of your teaching. In addition, you should have a good understanding of the gaming industry and design processes. It is considered a great bonus if you also have experience in 3D modeling (Autodesk Maya, Blender), 2D graphics (Photoshop), audio editing (Audacity), version control (GitHub Desktop), or agile working methods such as Scrum.
We are looking for someone who, in addition to their sharp subject expertise, wants to contribute with engagement, humor, and a lack of pretentiousness to our school. Together with the principal and colleagues, you will take responsibility for the school's pedagogical development, subject development, and for developing your own professional competence. You are creative in your planning and execution of your teaching, create a desire to learn, and have the ability to see students as individuals with different needs and motivations. In the classroom, you are a confident leader and good at building relationships with both students and parents. It is an advantage if you have other creative skills or interests.
